Delly had her first anaphylactic reaction at 9 months old. With her diagnosis of a severe dairy allergy, our family was forever changed. We have to plan and prepare for every meal, snack, event, travel, party and activity. We have to make sure Delly always carries her epinephrine and those around her know how to administer it.
Our family has since focused our time and efforts on advocating and bringing awareness to the seriousness of Food Allergies.
Every three minutes, a food allergy reaction sends someone to the emergency room in the U.S. A life-altering and potentially life-threatening disease, food allergy affects 32 million Americans.
