When I was a baby, my sister Rachel was diagnosed with a peanut and tree nut allergy. This is something she lives with every day and closely monitors each time she eats food or uses a hair or skincare product. It makes me sad that she can’t have the types of dessert and candy that most people can have. Plus she always has to be so careful by reading labels.

Every three minutes, a food allergy reaction sends someone to the emergency room in the U.S. A life-altering and potentially life-threatening disease, food allergy affects 32 million Americans.

Right now, there is no treatment or cure for food allergy... but there is HOPE.
